Why Narendra Modi is perfect material for Nobel Peace Award .

Although , the tittle seems to be indigestible to anyone who opposes  or moreover hates him from decades and unbelievable to those who scrutinize and moreover criticize on his performances . But one can not deny his path-breaking decision making capacity and parallel effort in every area for the development of India . It is a universal truth that no single man can keep everybody convinced and happy . So , outcome and efficiency will always be a matter to asses on various grounds .

In such a situation , where no one has clear evidence about the popularity graph of Mr. Modi as PM except the series of positive election results , which can be demarcated on many grounds such as EVMs tempering , issues about election , election were not general etc . If anyone suggest Modi's name to Norwegian Nobel Committee , and if the Committee sets to shortlist the name which some how goes public these days . I will have no wonder that many reputed bunch of intellectual liberal hippo-crates  will write to the Committee about the single handedly mistake . After all Modi is controversial person and someone who is  still considered as paradoxical PM .


But Modi is not alone to be called through such abstracts .  Norwegian Nobel Committee itself is controversial , and most of the controversy lies with Peace Prize itself  , not only for giving it to alleged wrong person or organization but also for not giving the right person . Like Nobel Peace laureate Aaung Saan Syu Ki  , who is still on the trigger for not manging Rohingya issue with humanistic approach . It was also given to three Israeli and a Palestinian leader for peace and fraternity in Middle-East , which was latter proved a mere pretext . Along with Gandhi , Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru , Dorthy Day , there are several others who did not get this despite of their considerable work and nomination for the prize itself . Norwegian Nobel Committee has taken many step to pacify and correct itself . Beside an article Mahatma - a missing laureate on it's page , Committee has mentioned it's mistake several time . First , when no one was given the Peace Prize as a tribute to Mahatma in 1948 , the year of his assassination . Again when Dalai Lama was conferred , the chairman of the Committee singled that as a memory of Mahatma .  But this mistake has become a red line , even if the whole Peace Prize would be renamed after Gandhi . Yes , if the Committee changes the name of Nobel Peace Prize as Mahatma Gandhi Prize , will probably the largest effort for damage control . And it will sound reasonable too , when Committee itself made several Ganghian Nobel Laureate . Nelson Mandela , Dalai Lama , Aung Saan Syu Ki have been some of those followers .Although  Gandhi Peace Award is also a separate award .


Norwegian Nobel Committee will not eager to make such mistake again . Nobel Peace Prize distribution is somehow widespread and democratic in many terms . It is not that much concentrated  to super power only as other prizes from same entity is . For instance , 377 Nobel Laureates belongs to US , out of which 22 is for peace , which constitutes 6 % . In the same way , 10 Peace Prize have given to those who/which belonged to UK , which constitutes 8 % of their total Nobel laureates . France and Germany had have 9-9 Peace Prize .

The Peace Prize has highest frequency in terms of women laureate .Total of 133 Nobel Peace Prizes has been awarded till now , out of which 50 belonged to US , UK , France and Germany . It means , in the total counts of Peace Prize , these 4 countries constitutes nearly 38 % , which is quite low than their over all performance .  So , it becomes a win - win chance for Indian Prime Minister .

Apart from state recognition from three country Saudi Arabia , Afghanistan and Palestine . Recently Modi has been conferred with UN's highest Environmental Award . More than 60 awards bagged by the Gujrat during his chief ministerial tenure  .

And the most recent award ,' Seoul Peace Prize' . This is purely milestone for Narendra Modi . He is first ever Indian  have to have it . Total 14 Seoul Peace Prize have been awarded till now , 4 out of it are Nobel laureate .  Doctors without Boarders , Kofi Annan , Muhhamad Yunus and most recent Nobel laureate Denis Mukwege(2018)  were first awarded Seoul Peace Prize and then Nobel Peace Prize  .

Following are some strong reason for which Modi has to be given Nobel Peace Prize -

(1).  350 Millions people were covered under  Jan Dhan Yojna for opening their bank account , with INR 10 thousand urgent assistance as Over Draft . This may sound easy but it never happened in the history of India , when Banks were opened for poor and marginalized in such a way . Even Mohhamad Yunus and Gramin Bank of Bangladesh were conferred with Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for something similar . 

(2).  India is beheading towards Open Deification Free . Maximum number of people has came out of chronic poverty during his Prime - Ministerial tenure . 

(3)  Ayushman Bharat , the world largest health scheme . It's outcome still has to come but name of Narendra Modi has been sent for consideration by tagging it .

(4).  A soft diplomacy , when on a single call , 192 countries became ready to adopt Yoga and started celebrating Yoga day .

(5).  Today , India is front runner against terrorism . It's all due to effort of Narendra Modi . India is also world leader in the struggle of environmental issue .

(6).  Many a time Modi is questioned over his foreign trip , by the way it is not actually 'trip' . There are many countries where Modi was either 1st ever Indian Prime Minister to visit or one who visited after long duration . This would be calculated as the efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples . The very reason former US President Baraq Hussain Obama was awarded in 2009 .

(7). The very reason of Seoul Peace Prize -  dedication of Nrendra Modi to improve international cooperation, raising global economic growth, accelerating the Human Development of the people of India by fostering economic growth in the world's fastest-growing large economy and furthering the development of democracy through anti-corruption and social integration efforts . 

(8). He was successful in securing peace even after earth-breaking riots of Gujarat as Chief Minister . Even after one and half decades , Gujarat has not faced any communal tension after 2002 . Earlier the indecent was counted as backlog of Modi but time has changed now . 

All the above reason are oblivious but distinct at the same time .  Apart from this , there are many challenges for Modi as Prime Minister but he is on sure shot success path . Resolving Kashmir issue which will ultimately solve tension with Pakistan , control over lynching , peaceful solution of Ram temple controversy are those things which will  provide strong  set of outcome for Modi in coming days .

Norwegian Nobel Committee has set a level for themselves and many time it has selected someone those for Peace Prize , which was nearly unprecedented . Kailash Satyarthi was also unprecedented untill Norwegian Nobel Committee recognized him . But in case of Narendra  Modi we should not be amazed if he is chosen for Nobel Peace Prize in near future . 

It would have really amazing if I were allowed to add Demonetization  in the list .
